Social distancing street parties were the order of the day it seems up and down the country, our very own Sally entertained her Neighbours and some facebook viewers with a WWII themed sing-along in her garden. Click  on the image of our songbird to have a listen

Albion Rocks for the Community!

Albion Rocks for the Community

UPDATE 6Th September 2018: We raised £460 in total for 3 local causes to share:

Wooton Primary Schools Association, Hardingstone Academy PTA & Wootton First Scouts were voted as most worthy causes &  each received an equal share!

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

We are just loving all the lovely rocks that are being hidden around Wootton & Hardingstone & we want to get involved and at the same time help the community we are part of.

We are going to be hiding 70 bright pink decorated rocks at the start of the Summer holidays, painted by 1st Wootton cubs ( see picture above of their impressive handy work in Albion signature  bright pink colour) The rocks will be hidden in Wootton, Wootton Fields & Hardingstone, all you need to do is find them.

When you find one of our rocks with #ALBION ROCKS on it it (followed by a number from 1-70 and a unique code) post a picture of it on our facebook event page Albion Rocks for the community.

Each rock is worth £10 if found & posted on the facebook event page (from 23rd July up to & including the 3rd September 2018). There is a total of £700 up for grabs. Don’t re-hide the rock once you’ve posted the pic, it’s yours to keep ?

We’ll total up all the stones found and posted on facebook throughout the summer hols and the cash (of up to £700) will be split between three local causes in Wootton & Hardingstone to be nominated by the local community! It could be a Pre school/school PTA, sports team, cub/scout/Beaver/Rainbows/Brownies/Guides or local charity. The three causes with the most nominations will each receive an equal donation.

You can make your nomination for the cause of your choice on the event page from now until 3rd September 2018 . We’re all really excited ?

Happy rock hunting!
